Medical marijuana is growing in buzz (no pun intended, of course), and it seem as if there are a lot of people who don’t even smoke weed trying to jump onto the ship. Medical marijuana itself isn’t bad, as it helps out a lot of people. I was in the Army reserves way back when, and I ended up having to see the field of battle – I’m an old and withered man now, but that isn’t going to stop me from telling people what I think about the world. We only have a limited amount of time on this planet, and I wanted to make the most of mine; that’s why I wanted to serve my country. When I came back, I had this awful pain in my back that just wouldn’t go away, and this is when marijuana was looked at as pretty much poison. Booze was the big thing when I was younger, and there were a lot of companies that jumped onto the train as soon as it became legal. It seems like that’s what is going to happen with medical marijuana, and that’s going to call for a few problems to require your attention.
I’ve been smoking marijuana for the majority of my life, and although the potency has definitely gotten better over the years, things have stayed relatively the same. It’s still a plant that you grow in the ground and dry up, and it’s still got an abundance of medically helpful properties to it as well. There are even people who are using hemp stocks (which is the stock of a marijuana plant, which won’t get you high or offer up pain relief) to create new forms of paper and fabrics, all of which can be reused. It’s pretty much the next best thing, and it’s only a matter of time before the government allows the entire world to make use of it. I feel like there are specific things in life that the bigger corporations just force on us, like gas – we have electrical cars that are somewhat affordable, but they just keep on pumping out cheap gas models to keep their industry going.
Medical marijuana is going to beneficial for an abundance of different people, but it’s all going to depend on how serious you are on the matter. If you’re just smoking the marijuana for a good time, you aren’t using it properly; although I am not completely against that. Nobody should be smoking and operating heavy machinery or driving, let alone trying to take their kids to school. All I ask is that you’re smart with your medical marijuana use, and as long as it’s helping you live a healthier life, there is nothing wrong with smoking a joint every now and then. The best part about it would be the fact that the rest of society is beginning to agree with me as well. It’s only a matter of time before the President himself is smoking medical marijuana!
